The Practice of Empowered Self-Care

How are you feeling today? Have you moved your body yet?

Well, either way, the Kinesia Pilates team is here to help.

We love helping people tune into their body and learn a fun and energizing movement practice.

I started teaching Pilates in my 20's because I loved movement and I still do. Pilates helped me heal from chronic pain that limited my mobility and it still keeps me in balance.

Now, in my fifth decade, I am as interested in the pleasure and freedom of movement as I ever have been.

I founded this studio because it gives me a means to offer something of real value to people, which are self-care skills and a movement practice that gives them better control of their body, and pleasure and freedom in how they move through life.

As we emerge from a these pandemic years of intense adaptation and change, the studio mission has only become more established;

Kinesia Pilates is committed to a physical culture of empowered self-care using Pilates movement practice and MELT self-massage. The benefits and skills that you take from each lesson are owned by you and a gift to your future self.

The thing is, to attain the benefits of this powerful practice, you have to practice a lot.

A couple hours a week is a good place to start but 3x weekly is the sweet spot.

You don’t have to practice in the studio with a teacher every time but DO practice what you learn in the studio.

In private lessons we focus on YOU and whatever your priorities that day are. It could be learning the flow, learning about yourself, healing, or working on new challenges. Book a private

Small groups practice has been returning to the schedule! Even though we made changes to the class programming, these all-levels groups are forming throughout all our studio hours. Book your next semi-private here

If you want to join small groups send us an email so that we can help you get started (or re-started)!

Whether you are new to the studio or just getting started, we personalize the training to empower YOU, and that is never going to change.
