Pilates Fundamentals

Learn how to do it right from the beginning, or refine your technique.

learn how to use the Reformer and other apparatus (Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Wall Unit) with confidence. 

Types of Fundamentals Classes:

  • Fundamentals:  Reformer, Mat, All Apparatus
  • Pilates Barre: Standing Pilates at a Ballet Barre
  • Mat + Weights: Pilates Mat and Dumbbells

If you are seeing a doctor or a physical therapist, be sure to talk to them about starting anything new.


All Levels

In these classes the basics are not explained.

Be prepared to workout more independently at a faster pace.

Classes are synchronized, although individual exercises vary to allow for beginners to advanced levels to work together.  We recommend 5 - 10 Private lessons before joining classes, and then regular Private training to help you advance.   

 

Types of All-Levels Classes:

  • All-Levels: Reformer, Mat, All Apparatus

  • Wunda Chair: Vertical Pilates using a step box with a spring loaded pedal system 

  • Rhythmic Reformer: 65 movements in 50 minutes

In Private lessons you learn how to personalize the technique to your goals and needs so you get more out of your classes.
